PHOTOS: SAGAMU YOUTHS STAGE PEACEFUL PROTEST AGAINST CULTISM, VIOLENCE

A group of youths, uder the aegis of National Youth Cuncil of Nigeria, Sagamu Chapter have staged a peaceful protest across the community, to campaign against cultism and violence among the youths. The peaceful march, which is part of the body's 3-day event was tagged, Community Peaceful Rally on 'Say No To Cultism and Violence was held on Wednesday, 19th December, 2018. Leading the peaceful protest was the leadership of the NYCN Sagamu Chapter, while many other youth organisations across the community also joined the procession. The peaceful procession took off from the Akarigbo Palace, Ita-Oba and moved to Isale Oko, before marching peacefully to other parts of the town. The protesters displayed messages like, 'Shun Cultism, Embrace Peace'.  See some of the pictures below;

The Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remo Land, Oba Babatunbde Adewale Ajayi has launched a subsidized mass transit bus service for the benefits of his subjects. The executive mass transit buses, which were unveiled few days back, as part of activities marking the monarch’s first coronation anniversary has now commenced operations and have started lifting passengers from Monday, December 10, 2018 to the delight of Sagamu residents. Fares for the fully air-conditioned buses have been greatly subsidized to bring relief to the people of Sagamu as a drop ride in any of the buses goes for only twenty naira, N20.00. According to impeccable sources, what is most fascinating about the Akarigbo transit bus service is the fact that you can use a single ticket of N20 for the whole day, provided the ticket is well kept and neat.
