AKARIGBO OF REMO LAND, OBA BABATUNDE ADEWALE AJAYI LAUNCHES MASS TRANSIT SERVICE

The Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remo Land, Oba Babatunbde Adewale Ajayi has launched a subsidized mass transit bus service for the benefits of his subjects.

The executive mass transit buses, which were unveiled few days back, as part of activities marking the monarch’s first coronation anniversary has now commenced operations and have started lifting passengers from Monday, December 10, 2018 to the delight of Sagamu residents.

Fares for the fully air-conditioned buses have been greatly subsidized to bring relief to the people of Sagamu as a drop ride in any of the buses goes for only twenty naira, N20.00.

According to impeccable sources, what is most fascinating about the Akarigbo transit bus service is the fact that you can use a single ticket of N20 for the whole day, provided the ticket is well kept and neat.

Some of the routes to be covered by the buses include Isale oko to Coca Cola junction, Express junction to Isale oko, Sagamu to Ikenne, Sabo to Remo Secondary School (RSS).

An excited resident of Sagamu, Kabir Haruna who had a ride on one of the buses commended the monarch, describing his experience in the air-conditioned bus as lovely.

While many has been commending the first class monarch for the humanitarian initiative, many residents of other Remo communities have also requested that the bus service be extended to them.

Remo Times join the good people of Remo Land to appreciate and congratulate our amiable and caring monarch on this noble initiative.
