As the campaign train of the Ogun State gubernatorial candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun moved to Sagamu local government in Remo Division of the state, a prominent party leader and former deputy governor of the state, Senator Gbenga Kaka has assured residents of Sagamu-Remo and indeed, Ogun State in general to vote for the APC candidate in the governorship election,   with the assurance that Abiodun will fulfill all the campaign promises he made to them. Governorship campaign of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun State has received a major boost on Tuesday as the campaign train moved to the Sagamu local government area of the State for its governorship rally in the community. At the campaign rally, which took place at the Akarigbo palace ground, party chieftains took turns to eulogise the quality virtues of the party’s candidate, while admonishing them to vote for him at the forthcoming governorship election in the State.   Addressing party faithful at the rally, a former deputy governor of the state, Prince Segun Adesegun assured residents that the APC government under Prince Abiodun will be fair to all. He also charged them to ignore calls by certain elements who have left the party for them to divide their votes among APC and other political parties, stating that some political parties have expressed readiness to decamp to APC to support the emergence of Abiodun at the poll. Youths of Batoro Community, Sagamu under the aegis of Batoro Youth Develeopment Association recently held its maiden annual fiesta, to mark the end of the outgone year 2018. The fiesta which was well attended by youths and the elderly in the community was graced by the monarch of the community, Oba Sulaiman Odeyemi Dosumu, Lowa Ibu of Batoro Sagamu who doubles as the chief host of the event. The fiesta featured musical performances and cultural entertainments among other interesting activities. 2019: AMOSUN IS SUFFERING FROM 'OUTGOING SYNDROME' SAYS OGUN APC

The Ogun State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress has said that the state Governor, Ibikunle  Amosun, deserves to be pitied by the good people of the state. The statement credited to Tunde Oladunjoye, Publicity Secretary of the State Caretaker Committee said the call to pity Amosun was due to his recent comments that his anointed governorship candidate, Hon. Abdulkabir Akinlade of the Allied  Peoples Movement, would defeat his APC counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun. In an official statement issued in Abeokuta on Wednesday by the party's Publicity Secretary in the state, Tunde, Oladunjoye, the party said the governor deserved sympathy.
