OGUN ASSEMBLY ASPIRANT, KSO ORGANISES OPEN FREE MARKET, AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS TO CONSTITUENTS
KSO as fondly called by his teeming friends and admirers organised the first open free market programme at his Simawa ward of the Sagamu Constituency 2 area of Ogun State on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
The KSO Friends Initiatives in Conjunction with Treasures Empowerment Network hosted The first in The Series of The Free Open Market Program. The occasion was also used to flag off The Campaigns of Evang. Kolade Segun-Okeowo who is contesting for The OGUN STATE House of Assembly, Sagamu Constituency 2 Seat.
The idea behind the program is to
provide basic food and clothing materials for the less privileged to
select from and "buy" using already issued free tickets.
Over 750 people attended the program.
The program also afforded The KSO Friends Initiatives the opportunity of presenting full Scholarship Awards to four indigent children who are to enjoy free education from primary to secondary school.
Speaking at the occasion, The Coordinator of The KSO Friends Initiatives, Barr Segun OLONADE explained that the vision of KSO for the House of Assembly has no selfish undertone but a passion to serve the people of Sagamu Constituency 2.
While speaking with journalists on the sideline of the program, KSO confirmed that the program goes beyond his political ambition as this has always been a part of him since he started evangelistic ministry work more than two decades ago.
He confirmed that he will always give back to the community whether in politics or outside politics.
He also announced that The Open Free Market initiative will be replicated in six other locations within the SAGAMU Constituency 2.
Chairman of The People's Democratic Party in Sagamu LG Deacon Dauda Adeyemi who graced the event said he identifies with The KSO Project and congratulated The Friends of KSO Initiatives who organized the event.
A community leader who spoke at the event Major Segun KUPOLUYI rtd. confirmed that he knows KSO personally and said he is sure that KSO is not selfish as he has proved to be generous even before venturing into politics. He appealed to the electorate to consider his antecedents when deciding who to vote for come 2019.
