VICTORY PARTY: OTUNBA ADEWUNMI ORIYOMI ONANUGA IS REMO'S BEST BET FOR REMO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, AKARIGBO OF REMO LAND, OBA ADEWALE AJAYI DECLARES

The Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi has declared that Remo Federal Constituency is lucky to have Otunba Onanuga as her reps member, noting that she was the best candidate to represent the entire Remo Federal Constituency at the House of Reps in Abuja.

The revered monarch stated this at the Special Reception and Victory Party organised by Otunba Onanuga at the Akarigbo Palce, Sagamu. Oba Ajayi who personally graced the auspicious occasion hinted that when he was asked about the quality of the right candidate to represent Remo well at the green chambers, he replied that he wanted someone with a calm character and eschew violence.  


The paramount traditional ruler noted that IJAYA is the best representation Remo deserves at the moment which he believed could turn Remoland to more than a London. He later offered prayers for the success of the federal lawmaker.

"If I was asked when I knew IJAYA, it was about two years ago at Eskay hotel that I met her. When I met her mother who I know before then, I realized she my sister", Akarigbo added. 

Similarly a well respected APC party stalwart,  Alh Tolu Dawodu, who is also Remo APC Apex leader. remarked that IJAYA is a woman of integrity who according to him will be a worthy representative, Baba Tolu Daodu stated that IJAYA has started well, and she will definitely end it well.

Otunba Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga in her remarks at the Inauguration Thanksgiving and Reception Ceremony noted that having had a shot at politics in Lagos she decided to come back home 7 years ago and participate in politics bacause she felt she could do better than  previous representatives.  This informed  her coming into Ogun State politics , she noted

IJAYA who speaks eloquently in Yoruba language appreciated all party leaders in attendance and all the Royal fathers, most importantly Kabiesi Akarigbo of Remo kingdom Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi (LLB, LLM, FCA) who stood his ground to support her. She appreciated the IJAYA frontiers and coordinators who worked tirelessly for the victory.

Otunba Onanuha appreciated all political parties that supported her including the PDP house of Reps candidate Hon Joje who was humble enough to display a rare spirit of sportsmanship.

 Speaking on behalf of IJAYA FRONTIERS Kayode Howells said IJAYA ran a violence free campaign without the use of weapons, this is a legacy laid in the history of politics in our land that an election can be won without any record of violence, he concluded.

The well attended reception was graced by royal fathers across Remo Land, APC leaders, party faithfuls and Remo stakeholders from all walks of life.

HISTORY AS AKARIGBO OF REMO LAND, OBA BABATUNDE ADEWALE AJAYI INSTALLS PRINCE DR OLUKOYA ADEDOYIN AS THE OTUNBA OLOORE OF ANOKO RULING HOUSE SAGAMU

History was recorded on Thursday, 21 st November, 2019 at the Ita Oba Akarigbo, Sagamu as the Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi installs Prince Dr Olukoya Adedoyin as the Otunba Oloore of Anoko ruling house of Sagamu. The historic event was witnessed by Princes and Princesses from the Anoko-Ogbonyari ruling house of Akarigbo Remo Land at home and in Diaspora who turned up in their large number to support and identify with the new Otunba Oloore. The event commenced as early as 8am in the morning with special prayers- iwure and rites at the Anoko ruling house palace. The procession later moved to the Otunba Mojo Palace, where all the Akarigbo Ruling Houses in Sagamu hold their regular meetings. Prayers and rites were also performed there before moving to the Akarigbo Palace for the formal installation rites. The Manna Ministries Int'l, a Sagamu Ogun State based Christian organization recently held the 7th edition of her Independence Youth Empowerment program (IYE) 2019 themed Ideas Rule the World. The annual summit which is organized by its NGO arm, Human Development & Capacity Building Initiative came up on between 29th-1st October, 2019.
