REMO GDF ROLLS OUT 2020 DEVELOPMENT PLANS, ECONOMIC SUMMIT, TRADE EXPO TOP AGENDA
The Remo Growth and Development Foundation, otherwise known as the
Remo GDF has rolled out its 2020 development agenda for the entire Remo
Division of Ogun State.
The group gave a short preview into the 2020 programmes at a
special dinner, tagged An Evening with The Akarigbo held at the prestigious Lagos
Country Club, Ikeja-Lagos.
In his royal address at the event, Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of
Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi has once again reiterated his unwavering
commitment to the development of the entire Remo Division of Ogun State, with a
view to making Remo the destination of choice in the State.
Giving a preview into its 2020 developmental programmes, Otunba Seni Adetu,
Director Commerce and Industry of Remo GDF Directorate intimated
the gathering on some of what to expect from the foundation in 2020.
The programmes include, Remo Economic Summit, Remo Trade Expo and
Remo Endowment Fund, among other development initiatives.
He called on all Remo sons and daughters at home and in diasporas
to collaborate with Remo GDF, towards the realization of its proposed 2020
development agenda.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Chairman Remo Growth and
Development Foundation, Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin also appealed to Remo sons
and daughters in attendance, to subscribe to the developmental visions of Remo
GDF.
Aare Kola Oyefeso, Co-Chair, Remo GDF also intimated the guests on
some giant strides that have been undertaken by the organization in less than two
years of its existence and how these initiatives have given Remo Land a better
rating among other divisions in Ogun State.
Remo Growth and Development Foundation, otherwise known as Remo
GDF was established by Oba Ajayi in 2018 as the driving force for the development
of Remo Land. The group is instrumental to the opening of Nigerian Passport
Office, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Court House in Sagamu, the setting
up of the Akarigbo Corporate Council and the on-going renovation of the Remo
GDF Secretariat at Iperu.
