20TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY: LOWA IBU OF BATORO, SAGAMU OBA SULAIMAN OLUGBENGA DOSUMU ROLLS OUT THE DRUMS
The
Lowa Ibu of Batoro Sagamu, Ogun State, His Royal Highness, Oba Sulaiman
Olugbenga Dosunmu, Dosumu 2 recently rolled out the drums to mark his historic
20th coronation anniversary on the throne of his fore-fathers, as the Lowa Ibu
of Batoro community, Sagamu
The
revered monarch of Batoro community, one of Remo's original 33 traditional
towns left no stone unturned to make the historic event memorable.
The
2-day coronation anniversary event kicked off with the installation of
honourary chiefs by the revered monarch, on Friday 3rd January, 2020. The event
will climaxed on Saturday, 4th January, 2020 with Special Coronation
Thanksgiving Service at St John's Anglican Church, Ijoku Sagamu after which
guests within and outside Sagamu were given a royal reception at the Batoro
Community Grammar School open field.
Guests
that graced the event include, the Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remo Land,
Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa 2 who led a powerful delegation of
Sagamu and Remo monarchs to the Church thanksgiving service.
Oba
Sulaiman Olugbenga Dosumu, in his special message thanked God for the
opportunity to ascend the throne and appreciated God for keeping him alive to
witness 20 years on the throne.
The
Monarch further solicited the support of all and sundry, particularly sons and daughters of Batoro at home and in diaspora, towards the realization
of his development agenda for Batoro community.
