SAGAMU CONSTITUENCY 1 STATE LAWMAKER, HON SEGUN SHITTA UNVEILS SIX MONTH SCORE-CARD


The Deputy Majority Leader of the Ogun State House Assembly and Member, representing Sagamu Constituency 1, Hon Segun Shitta has unveiled some of his six months score-cards as State Lawmaker. He made this disclosure through a public release, in response to clamour from some of his constituents. 

Hon Shitta disclosed that, 'aside from my primary legislative duties, I have unilaterally sponsored regular Thursdays environmental sanitation programs at Sabo market, Oja Oba market, Falawo markets and other markets in Sagamu Offin constituency 1'..

In an exclusive chat with Remo Times Magazine, Hon Shitta added that, he has worked assiduously with the State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR in giving us the best of democratic dividend to Sagamu Constituency 1.

Similarly, Hon Shitta also revealed that, through his legislative efforts at the House, he has been able to successfully secure the inclusion of nineteen (19) roads across Sagamu Constituency 1 for rehabilitation, as captured in the 2020 budget recently passed by the Ogun State House of Assembly.

Below are the lists of the roads included in Ogun state 2020 budget, painstakingly chosen by Hon Segun Shitta and forwarded to the governor for approval and by the special grace of God, approved by His excellency Governor Dapo Abiodun mfr for execution.

Hon Shitta concluded by appealing for the support and understanding of hos constituents for him to deliver more dividends of democracy to the constituency.

HISTORY AS AKARIGBO OF REMO LAND, OBA BABATUNDE ADEWALE AJAYI INSTALLS PRINCE DR OLUKOYA ADEDOYIN AS THE OTUNBA OLOORE OF ANOKO RULING HOUSE SAGAMU

History was recorded on Thursday, 21 st November, 2019 at the Ita Oba Akarigbo, Sagamu as the Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi installs Prince Dr Olukoya Adedoyin as the Otunba Oloore of Anoko ruling house of Sagamu. The historic event was witnessed by Princes and Princesses from the Anoko-Ogbonyari ruling house of Akarigbo Remo Land at home and in Diaspora who turned up in their large number to support and identify with the new Otunba Oloore. The event commenced as early as 8am in the morning with special prayers- iwure and rites at the Anoko ruling house palace. The procession later moved to the Otunba Mojo Palace, where all the Akarigbo Ruling Houses in Sagamu hold their regular meetings. Prayers and rites were also performed there before moving to the Akarigbo Palace for the formal installation rites. MANNA MINISTRIES HOST 7TH EDITION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY YOUTH EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE

The Manna Ministries Int'l, a Sagamu Ogun State based Christian organization recently held the 7th edition of her Independence Youth Empowerment program (IYE) 2019 themed Ideas Rule the World. The annual summit which is organized by its NGO arm, Human Development & Capacity Building Initiative came up on between 29th-1st October, 2019. The first 2 days featured training of youths in diverse areas, which includes vocational training (laundry & dry cleaning, snail farming, cakes and  pastery), Information Technology (Website development and blogging) and social media marketing.
