AKARIGBO OF REMO LAND, OBA BABATUNDE AJAYI DID NOT ORDER THE ARREST OFYORUBA NATION PROTESTERS, AIDE.

The Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi has described a video circulating on social media that he purportedly ordered the arrest and shooting of Yoruba Nation protesters at Sagamu as malicious, unfounded and misleading.

Oba Ajayi debunked the allegation in a press statement signed by the Chief of Staff to to the paramount ruler, Prince Abbe Aina  and made available to Remo Times Magazine.

The statement is reproduced below:

SETTING THE RECORDS STRAIGHT

Our attention has been drawn to a propaganda on the social media that is laden with mischiefs and unfounded lies against the person and office of the Akarigbo and Paramount of Remo-Land.

While we acknowledge the liberty inheres in the Constitution of this Country for people to express themselves freely, going about it in utter mischief, devilish fabrication of lies in disregard for truth and good conscience, perhaps with a view too misinforming the unsuspecting members of public is something ungodly and condemnable in the sight of God.

It is even more reproachable to remain indifferent to falsehood more so, a lie that is allowed to go unchallenged has an ugly tendency to be taken for the truth.

Against this background, we feel obliged to set the record straight as follows:

1. It is utter falacy that the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remo-Land who has been overseas till date, refused to give audience to some protesters at the Palace on the day in question. 

2.It is equally a figment of imagination in the minds of the mischief makers that the Akarigbo being far away abroad, was aware of the protesters' presence in the Palace. 

3. By the same token neither did the Akarigbo order the arrest of any of the protesters given his unawareness of the subject situation.

4. It is equally the height of evil imagination to assume the Akarigbo has ever received any gratification from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,for whatsoever.

5.Above all, we pray to the Lord to forgive any one whose imagination might be running riot, to warrant the baseless rumors and unwarranted fouling of the air, with devilish diarrhea of the mouth, which the whole fiction and falsehood tantermount to.

6. On the issue of Makun land dispute, Akarigbo before travelling set up a committee to investigate the conduct of the kabiyesi in question. The Committee is yet to conclude its report which it is believed will result in just and  fair outcome.

HISTORY AS AKARIGBO OF REMO LAND, OBA BABATUNDE ADEWALE AJAYI INSTALLS PRINCE DR OLUKOYA ADEDOYIN AS THE OTUNBA OLOORE OF ANOKO RULING HOUSE SAGAMU

History was recorded on Thursday, 21 st November, 2019 at the Ita Oba Akarigbo, Sagamu as the Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi installs Prince Dr Olukoya Adedoyin as the Otunba Oloore of Anoko ruling house of Sagamu. The historic event was witnessed by Princes and Princesses from the Anoko-Ogbonyari ruling house of Akarigbo Remo Land at home and in Diaspora who turned up in their large number to support and identify with the new Otunba Oloore. The event commenced as early as 8am in the morning with special prayers- iwure and rites at the Anoko ruling house palace. The procession later moved to the Otunba Mojo Palace, where all the Akarigbo Ruling Houses in Sagamu hold their regular meetings. Prayers and rites were also performed there before moving to the Akarigbo Palace for the formal installation rites. MANNA MINISTRIES HOST 7TH EDITION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY YOUTH EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE

The Manna Ministries Int'l, a Sagamu Ogun State based Christian organization recently held the 7th edition of her Independence Youth Empowerment program (IYE) 2019 themed Ideas Rule the World. The annual summit which is organized by its NGO arm, Human Development & Capacity Building Initiative came up on between 29th-1st October, 2019. The first 2 days featured training of youths in diverse areas, which includes vocational training (laundry & dry cleaning, snail farming, cakes and  pastery), Information Technology (Website development and blogging) and social media marketing.
