SAGAMU CONSTITUENCY 1 STATE LAWMAKER, HON SEGUN SHITTA UNVEILS SIX MONTH SCORE-CARD

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Ogun State House Assembly and Member, representing Sagamu Constituency 1, Hon Segun Shitta has unveiled some of his six months score-cards as State Lawmaker. He made this disclosure through a public release, in response to clamour from some of his constituents.  Hon Shitta disclosed that, 'aside from my primary legislative duties, I have unilaterally sponsored regular Thursdays environmental sanitation programs at Sabo market, Oja Oba market, Falawo markets and other markets in Sagamu Offin constituency 1'.. In an exclusive chat with Remo Times Magazine , Hon Shitta added that, he has worked assiduously with the State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR in giving us the best of democratic dividend to Sagamu Constituency 1. The newly appointed Chairman, Caretaker  Committee for Sagamu local government, Hon Gbenga Banjo, a.k.a Baruwa has unveiled his four (4) point development agenda for Sagamu local government area. The Chairman has also pledged even development of the entire Sagamu local government wards, with a promise of a new dawn in the administration of the local government council. FUN MEMORIES, GLAMOUR AS RDHS 86/92 NOBLE SET HOLDS 2019 RE-UNION

It was an atmosphere of funfilled memories as Noble 86/92 Set of Remo Divisional High School Sagamu hosted her 2019 Re-Union and End-of-the-Year party for set members, their families and loved ones. The event, which took place on 26th December, 2019 at the National Secretariat of the RDHS Old Students Association, within the school, premises was graced by many noble mates from Lagos, Ogun and other parts of the country. It was a time of reminiscing for many of the set members, some of whom were seeing themselves for the first time since they left secondary school about 32 years ago. UNILAG PROFESSOR, TAIWO ASEKUN HONOURS AS MATRON, RDHS NOBLE 86/92 SET OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION

Professor Taiwo Asekun, a University of Lagos lecturer and Professor of Chemistry was recently honoured as the Matron and Special Adviser to the 1986-1992 set of the Remo Divisional High School Old Students Association. Professor Asekun, a former National Vice President of the National executive of the school old students association was formally decorated and presented to set members and the general public at the set's 2019 end of the year re-union party event held at the National Secretariat of the association at Sagamu Ogun State. Speaking at the event where she also doubles as the Guest Speaker, Prof Asekun commended the Noble 86/92 Set of Remo Divisional High School for the honour done to her. She also applauded the set for being a set to reckon with among other old students set of the school, while pledging her readiness to work with the Set, towards achieving their set goals and objectives. ONYABO LEADER, LANRE LABINJO, WIFE HONOUERD AS AKOGUN AND YEYE AKOGUN OF BATORO COMMUNITY, SAGAMU

Honour and recognition has come the way of prominent Ikorodu son and deputy leader of the Onyabo vigilante group, in person of Mr Lanre Labinjo who was recently honoured as the Akogun of Batoro Community,   Sagamu,   Ogun State. The Akogun title, conferred on Labinjo, came as a reward for his selfless community service towards the promotion of peace and security across Ikorodu division. Akogun Lanre Labinjo was accompanied to Batoro-Sagamu by prominent traditional title chiefs from Ikorodu, led by the Olumale of Ikorodu, Chief Osho, family, friends and some members of the Onyabo vigilante group. He was ushered into Batoro kingdom with traditional oro music and entertainment  who held the entire Batoro community spell bound for hours by their melodious traditional oro songs, for which the Lowa Ibu of Batoto, Oba Olugbenga Dosumu sprayed them some cash. 20TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY: LOWA IBU OF BATORO, SAGAMU OBA SULAIMAN OLUGBENGA DOSUMU ROLLS OUT THE DRUMS

The Lowa Ibu of Batoro Sagamu, Ogun State, His Royal Highness, Oba Sulaiman Olugbenga Dosunmu, Dosumu 2 recently rolled out the drums to mark his historic 20th coronation anniversary on the throne of his fore-fathers, as the Lowa Ibu of Batoro community, Sagamu The revered monarch of Batoro community, one of Remo's original 33 traditional towns left no stone unturned to make the historic event memorable.
